Our first pilgrimage in honour of the Chideock Martyrs takes place on Saturday, 28th September 2019 by kind invitation of Fr Richard Meyer, Parish Priest of Bridport, in whose parish the Martyr's Chapel in situated.
9.30 - 10.30 Arrival and private walking of grounds and viewing church.
10.30 Missa Cantata, followed by Veneration of some Relics of the Martyrs
12.15 Tour/history of the Chideock Martyrs
1pm Lunch - please bring your own packed lunch or use one of the hostelries in Chideock or Seatown
Visit the church's museum or spend time in private prayer
Please note, both the church and museum have disabled access.
Directions: Chideock is on the A35, two miles west of Bridport and 18 miles west of Dorchester. In the village, turn into North Road at St Giles' Church (signposted to North Chideock). the church is a quarter of a mile on the right.
