In this centenary year of the Apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima, the World Apostolate of Fatima has organised a programme for the National Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima, and Relics of SS Jacinta and Francisco to travel around the country, visiting various cathedrals, abbeys and churches. The Latin Mass Society is delighted to announce that they are part of this programme.
The Pilgrim Statue and Relics will be taken into the church of Our Lady of the Rosary & St Dominic, Southampton Road, London NW5 4LB on Saturday 8th July 2017, by kind permission of Fr Thomas Skeats OP, for an afternoon of devotions organised by the LMS.
The programme for the afternoon will be:
12:00 Procession of the statue of Our Lady of Fatima, with the Relics of SS Jacinta & Francisco, followed by High Mass in the Dominican Rite
13:20 Break for lunch – please bring your own lunch, tea and coffee will be provided
14:00 Introduction to the World Apostolate of Fatima Visitation Programme
14:05 Veneration of the Relics of SS Jacinta and Francisco, & Confession, during which there will be the recitation of the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary
14:30 Spiritual Conference - A Dominican Father
15:00 Recitation of the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary, & Confession
15:25 Investitures in the Brown Scapular
15:45 Vespers and Benediction, with Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
