On 14 June 2025 the Latin Mass Society will hold a dinner in honour of His Excellency Bishop Athanasius Schneider, who is visiting England to participate in the society’s sixtieth anniversary celebrations.
This festal occasion will be held at The Rembrandt Hotel in South Kensington, where the society held its first meeting on 10 April 1965.
Before the dinner there will be Pontifical Vespers at the Little Oratory and a reception at St Wilfrid’s Hall.
Timings are as follows:
Pontifical Vespers, Little Oratory: 5.30 pm
Reception, St Wilfrid’s Hall: 6.30 pm
Dinner, Rembrandt Hotel: 7.30 pm
The cost of the evening is £95, which includes the reception followed by the dinner.

Beetroot smoked salmon with fresh avocado and crème fraiche.
Roast chicken supreme marinated in lemon & herbs served with a honey and thyme.
Vegetarian alternative: Salmon en croute filled with mushroom duxelles served with a lemon dill and butter.
Crème caramel with seasonal fruit.
