Help the Sons of the Holy Redeemer replace their boat
The boat belonging to the monks (Sons of the Holy Redeemer) who live on Stronsay, an island in Orkney, Scotland, was smashed to pieces in a freak storm. To get on and off the island they are now reliant on the charity of local fishermen; they also need a boat in order to go fishing, a mainstay of their diet.
As the Rule of St Alphonsus does not permit the monks to solicit for funds, therefore we are asking people to share this information as widely as possible so that funds can be raised in order that they can purchase a replacement boat.
