Embroidered Brown Scapular (Sewing Kit)

Make a hand embroidered brown scapular, stitching a simple Sacred Heart and an Immaculate Heart with stranded cotton on linen. Kit includes: 2 rectangles of felt cut to the correct size, linen stitched to a calico backing, length of brown cord, embroidered threads and embroidery needles. You will also need a 4" embroidery frame embroidery scissors, pinking shears (optional), textile glue, sewing machine (optional).

Produced by the Guild of St Clare, an association of Catholic needleworkers which promotes traditional needlecraft, both for liturgical vestments and in a domestic context.
