Travelling Stole (Sewing Kit)

Make a travelling stole, using violet damask from world famous papal clerical outfitter Gammarelli. The instructions take you through each stage of the hand construction method. Kit includes: instructions, paper pattern, violet damask, cotton lining fabric, calico interlining, narrow liturgical braid, violet thread and needles. You will also need: paper scissors, sewing scissors, tacking thread, tailor's chalk or similar, and a ruler.

Produced by the Guild of St Clare, an association of Catholic needleworkers which promotes traditional needlecraft, both for liturgical vestments and in a domestic context.
