High Mass at the Basilica of Our Lady of Walsingham

More than 60 people took part in our annual Walking Pilgrimage from Ely to Walsingham over the weekend.

Overnight stays were arranged in Ely, Oxborough and East Rudham and a Missa Cantata was celebrated in St Etheldreda’s, Ely and the chapel at Oxburgh Hall, the latter by kind invitation of the Bedingfeld family.

The culmination of the pilgrimage was High Mass in the Chapel of Reconciliation at the Basilica, at which the walkers were joined by day pilgrims from London and elsewhere. The Mass was streamed live on the Shrine’s website and a recording of it can be seen here.
