Running to Raise Funds for the Guild of Saint Clare

On 12th May, Lucy Shaw is running the Oxford Town & Gown 10k to raise funds for the work of the Guild of St Clare.

The Guild of Saint Clare is a lay apostolate which serves priests who celebrate the Traditional Mass by mending and making vestments, and teaches the traditional hand sewing skills involved. The growing network of local Chapters enables them to assist more and more priests; but in order to do this work they need materials, equipment, and professional training. This all costs money.

Lucy is hoping to raise £500 for the use of the Guild of Saint Clare. If the 10k goes well next month, she’ll consider running the Oxford half marathon in October.
