Mary the Mirror
This little collection of meditations in honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary was never intended as a book. They began life as short Saturday meditations, composed, towards the end of his life by a monk at the Grande Chartreuse in honour of Our Blessed Lady. That monk was Dom Augustin Guillerand, well known to those who are inspired by Carthusian spirituality from his best-selling longer works They Speak by Silences and Where Silence is Praise, both of which have been in print for over sixty years. Deceptively straightforward yet deeply profound, the simplicity of Dom Augustin's meditations hides a deep penetration of the divine mysteries, which, it could be said, formed the constant subject of his meditation.
An invaluable companion to those who wish to follow Mary more deeply in their life of faith.
